RRBs were established in India under RRB Act 1976 [23(1)]. Bank of
Baroda had sponsored 19 RRBs in the country of which 7 RRBs were in
eastern Uttar Pradesh. During the period from 1976 to 2006 banking
industry had undergone various changes and RRBs were no exception. Thus
emerged two new corporates called Baroda Eastern Uttar Pradesh Gramin
Bank and Baroda Western Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank with their Head
Offices in Raebareli and Bareilly respectively. After a shortwhile from
this restructuring, govt. of India vide notification dt. 31st March
2008, let the two banks amalgamate to form a new entity called Baroda
Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank with its Head Office in Raebareli.

Job Details:
The candidate should have completed a Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Should have good proficiency in local language.
Candidates should have obtained the specified Total Weighted Standard Score as well as score in each test in the RRBs- Common Written Examination conducted in September 2012.
Candidates are required to possess proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT in which RRB is located and must have passed “local language” as one of the subjects at Matriculation/Xth Standard.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRB-Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview.
Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS.
Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
