Job Description
* Will have to resolve Netcool Change requests/incidents.
* Will have to obtain new requirement from Client users with respect to Application requests types.
* Delivering the committed Change request in appropriate time with all quality and technical expectations met.
* Ensuring that service requests/incidents which have been directed to email and the support chat channel are checked, logged and confirmed in accordance with the internal procedures to agreed service levels.
* Ensuring that critical Netcool notifications are fixed/escalated to appropriate groups.
* Will have to develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of Netcool applications.
* Would have to follow the incident, change and problem management processes, as defined and agreed by client and provide feedback, where applicable, of shortcomings and suggested improvements to the processes
* Would have to proactively identify and implement improvements to existing processes, leveraging upon available tool sets to reduce manual intervention, in order to manage incidents more effectively and ultimately improve the level of service and support provided
Skills Required
* Knowledge in IBM Netcool Suite of Products like Netcool Webgui, ISM, Impact.
* Ability to work closely with the staff.
* Find solutions to problems.
* Outstanding time management capabilities.
* Should have good Interpersonal communication skills.
