Job Description:
Characterization of Digital and Mixed-signal designs
Firmware development for SoC characterization
Verification of Microsemis timing and Power analysis tools
Correlation of pre-silicon results with silicon measurements
Characterization spec, plan, and documentation
Cross-functional team interfacing and collaboration in all activities
0-1 years of experience in product characterization or silicon validation with emphasis on digital and mixed-signal
Familiarity with using lab equipment such as logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.
Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals including CMOS device operation and characteristics
Fluent in Verilog or VHDL
Familiarity with Programming/software in C/C++ and/or Firmware Development in 8051 and ARM are
Working knowledge of at least 1 of the following languages: Java, Visual Basic and/or Perl

Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of SOC and/or FPGA Architectures
Knowledge of FPGA design synthesis and routing associated with Microsemi (Libero), Xilinx (ISE), or Altera (Quartus) tools
Working knowledge of FPGA design flows with a focus on timing and power analysis tools
Working knowledge of ASIC and/or FPGA design flow, VHDL or Verilog
