Job Description:
Design, code & debug software as per requirements that meet overall system specifications.
· Develop Applications and/or GUI for Tektronix Instruments.
· Generate all documentation required in the software development process, including software requirements specifications, software design descriptions,
User Interface (UI) requirements and design, verification and validation plans, and other items as required.
· Set up hardware and platforms for the application/product as per the requirement.
· Focus on quality deliverables with high accountability and commitment to program objectives.
· Write test plans for each level of software verification, including unit tests, functional tests, integration tests, and system tests.
· Fix reported bugs.
· Work closely with the Project Team members & Execute plans made by senior engineers and Management.
· Documentation and also assist & supply information to the Technical documentation team for user/ product documentation.
Participate in team reviews to communicate and validate decisions.
candidate profile:
Studying in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics engineering or Instrumentation Technology from a premier Institute in India
Exposure to real time and/or Embedded Systems is a definite plus.
Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Should be strong in basics of Electronics Principles
Good in fundamentals of Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures
Knowledge of Micro Processor Architecture is essential in some cases.
Should be conversant with C/C++ Programming.
Knowledge on C#/.NET will be an added advantage.
Aptitude to handle Test & Measurement Instruments like Oscilloscopes/Logic Analyzers/Signal Sources is a must.
Aptitude for Continuous Improvement, Enhancing skills, and getting updated on emerging technologies are a must.
Good and consistent Academic record is vital.
